About Us

Turath Scholarship Fund is a UK registered charity established in 2010 with the aim of strengthening and growing the scholarship within the UK Muslim community. The objective is to provide scholarships to young talented scholars who would become future leaders and service the needs of the UK community. Since 2010, we have successfully distributed over £120,000 to over 25 recipients. The vast majority of these scholarship recipients were studying graduate or post-graduate studies at some of the best UK higher institutes or Islamic Seminaries and Colleges. Many of our recipients have now progressed onto higher research studies, teaching in communities, writing books, delivering seminars, lectures, and have become pillars of their respective communities.

In 2021, we have launched the Turath Writers’ Program and the Rising Translators Program to complement our scholarships.
